The Magtron range of deluxe electro-magnetic drilling machines has been designed, developed and manufactured to the very highest standards to provide users with a powerful, portable and cost effective solution to hole cutting problems.

With powerful motors, very high power magnets, rugged construction, light weight and the very latest in electronic control technology featuring 2 way safety interlocks with audio and visual alerts, these units are very versatile, reliable and safe to use - both on site and in the workshop.

The machines cover the drilling of holes from 12mm to 100mm with broaching cutters and up to 32mm with traditional twist drills.

Broach cutting is a well proven technology which cuts very accurate holes through metal much more quickly that traditional twist drills. By removing material only at the periphery of the hole, the cutter leaves a solid slug which is ejected at the end of the cut, so a much smaller proportion of material is converted to chippings - requiring less power and taking less time. The unique geometry of Magtron cutters also helps to achieve faster feed, lower cutting resistance, greater accuracy, and better finish.

Magtron machines and cutters are manufactured in our own workshops using state-of-the-art, automatic feed CNC machine tools for consistent hgiht quality and accuracy.
