In collaboration with Outokumpu Stainless’ central R&D centre, we have developed the Rainbow Concept. This new generation of colour-coded pickling products comprises:
  • GreenOneâ„¢ – light pickling for easy applications
  • BlueOneâ„¢ – medium pickling for standard applications
  • RedOneâ„¢ – heavy pickling for tough applications.

Wider choice and easy differentiation between products, purposes and applications are just some of the advantages.

Safety and the environment were top priorities in the development of the Rainbow Concept. GreenOne™ paste and spray both meet the toughest environmental demands – the emission of toxic NOX fumes can be reduced by up to 90%.

The Rainbow Concept is patented worldwide.

Avesta GreenOneâ„¢ 120
This non-toxic paste is specifically intended for the soft, brush pickling of weld seams and smaller surfaces.

Typical GreenOneâ„¢ applications
  • Standard steel grades such as 304
  • Cold rolled plate
  • Pickling of shiny surfaces without dulling
  • Bright 2B finishes
  • Light layers of welding oxides (e.g. manual TIG welding)
  • Low NOX levels (e.g. pickling inside tanks or ordinary workshops)
  • Pickling at room temperature, 10-30ºC
  • Overnight pickling (does not dry out)
