Visible Red Dye Penetrant used for finding surface cracks and also leaks in non magnetic and magnetic components, fabrications and structures. The product is applied to a clean grease free surface (use JAC-2) and allowed to penetrate into any cracks or porosity which may be present. After 15 to 30 minutes the product is removed using a lint free cloth impregnated with JAC-2. Finally a Powder Developer is applied (JAD) and the red penetrant will bleed out giving red indications on a white background denoting a defect.

The product is excellent at finding leaks in tank fabrications etc as well as cracks and porosity in castings, forgings and components. The Aerosols are 400ml and the product is certified low in Sulphur and Halogens and conforms to the latest European standards. JAP will cover about 2m sq on application.
