Used in the MPI Inspection process. Neopaint NPT, when used in conjunction with Neocol B and a suitable electromagnet, is capable of finding surface breaking cracks in components, welds and structures. Components parts and structures must be capable of supporting a magnetic field with a ferrous content.

Testing is simple to learn and the system is proven with European Standards being applied to both product and associated theory. Neopaint NPT 16 is a non flammable solvent based brilliant white quick drying surface paint. The product is sprayed onto the area to be examined and allowed to dry (typically under 1 minute drying time). Neocol B is then applied on top and the area magnetised. (Typically using an electro magnet) Cracks will show as black lines on the white Neopaint NPT 16 background.

There is 400g per Aerosol (this will prepare about 10m to 15m of weld for testing) Neopaint NPT16 is certified low in Sulphur and Halogens and conforms to the latest European standards.
