Exceptionally light in weight, but powerful in performance, the new shield offers the premium qualities of the Speedglas range at an affordable price. The attractive new shields have excellent optical quality, reliable light-to-dark switching (Dark shade 8-12) as well as the obvious market-leading graphic options. They can be used for most arc welding processes, such as stick (MMA), MIG/MAG, and many TIG applications. The easy-to-use Speedglas 100 Shield is the ideal "first" auto-darkening shiled for hobby welders, farmers, DIY enthusiasts, and maintenance or construction workers who weld infrequently but value high levels of comfort and excellent protection.

Variable Shade Filter...
The 3M Speedglas 100V filter has five user-selectable dark shades, from shade 8 to shade 12, and a light shade of 3. It also benefits from three sensitivity settings, a normal setting used for most types of welding (both indoors and outdoors), a setting for when other welders are working nearby, and a setting for low-current or stable arc (e.g. TIG) welding.
